At The Sweet Shop by Mumita’s Bakery, we value our role as a local small business in Highland Village and take pride in giving back to our community. We receive many requests for donations and sponsorships, and while we wish we could say yes to all, we must be thoughtful and balanced in how we contribute.

1. Our Sponsorship Approach
We focus our sponsorships on opportunities that create a mutual benefit for both the community and our bakery. This ensures that our support is sustainable and helps us continue serving Highland Village for years to come.

2. Preferred Sponsorship Opportunities
• Spirit Nights: We believe these events are the best way to partner with schools and community groups. Spirit Nights allow us to give back a portion of sales, while encouraging families to visit our store and support a local business.
• Community Events: We might consider participation in local festivals, fairs, or events where we can share our products with the community.
• Special Collaborations: Projects that highlight local partnerships, celebrate our community, and bring people into our store.

3. Requests We Cannot Support
We are unable to provide cash sponsorships, product donations for raffles/auctions, or unlimited free items. As a small, family-owned business, we need to prioritize opportunities that align with our mission and that also help sustain our operations.

4. Mutual Support Matters
Just as we are proud to support our community, we kindly ask that our community supports us in return. Visiting our store, purchasing our products, and sharing your positive experiences help us grow — and in turn, allow us to continue giving back.

5. How to Submit a Request
All sponsorship or event partnership requests should be submitted in writing at least 2 weeks in advance of the event date. Please include:
• Name of the school/organization
• Date and description of the event
• Type of support requested
• Expected number of participants

Requests can be submitted via email at admin@thesweetshophv.com or delivered in person to the store.
