After several wonderful years of running a home-based bakery, Mumita’s Bakery took an exciting step forward in April 2025 by purchasing The Sweet Shop in Highland Village. That chapter allowed us to grow, learn, and share our love for sweets with a new community, all while blending the joy of classic candy with our homemade baked goods.

Today, we’re excited to begin our next chapter by coming back to Aubrey, where our journey originally began. Returning feels full-circle for us, and we’re grateful to bring everything we’ve learned and built back to a community that has always felt like home.

By combining the fun and variety of The Sweet Shop with the heart and flavors of Mumita’s Bakery, we continue our vision of creating a sweet destination that brings together candies, gummies, and freshly made baked goods. Our goal remains the same: to honor the past while embracing growth and new possibilities.

As proud owners, Luis and Erika are excited to continue pouring their passion, creativity, and faith into this next step. We look forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new friends as we grow once again—this time, back in Aubrey.
