After five wonderful years of running a home-based bakery, Mumita’s Bakery is thrilled to take the next big step — we’ve officially purchased The Sweet Shop in Highland Village! This charming little candy store has always had a special magic, and now it’s ready to grow into something even sweeter.

By combining the classic treats and nostalgia of The Sweet Shop with the beloved flavors of Mumita’s Bakery, we’re creating a whole new experience — one that honors tradition while embracing something fresh and exciting. Our vision is to blend candies and baked goods into a must-visit destination for families, foodies, and sweet lovers alike.

Starting April 2025, Luis and Erika will proudly take ownership of the store, bringing their passion, creativity, and faith in the amazing Highland Village community. Together, we aim to make The Sweet Shop by Mumita’s Bakery a local favorite — full of warmth, joy, and unforgettable flavors.
